初沫儿被皇上立为皇后，皇上为了给初沫儿独一无二的宠爱，把整个后宫遣散，几年以来整个后宫都只有初沫儿一人。然而初沫儿由于身体原因几次流产，几年了也没能给皇上诞下一个龙嗣，但在皇上心目中，只要初沫儿能够好好的，其他都不重要。皇宫大臣屡屡上书说，国不能无后，希望皇上能够充盈后宫，但都被皇上拒绝。就在此时，前皇后的妹妹露出了自己阴暗的一面，计划报复皇后和皇上。
