一次偶然中，叶知良（张国立 饰）结识了名为丁歌（韩雨芹 饰）的女子。丁歌是一名受过专业训练的舞蹈演员，叶知良被她的美丽知性深深的吸引，为了能够拉近两人之间的距离，他想了一个好主意。 叶知良找到丁歌，邀请她成为小区舞蹈队的教练，丁歌一开始并不情愿，但经不住叶知良那三寸不烂之舌的游说，最终应允，而叶知良亦抓住了这大好机会，也加入了舞蹈队，充满了激情和活力的舞蹈成为了连结两人的桥梁。实际上，丁歌的感情生活极为不顺，对爱早已经心灰意冷，是叶知良不离不弃的陪伴和开导着她，让丁歌逐渐看到了未来的希望。在丁歌的带领下，舞蹈队走上了综艺节目《不如跳舞》的舞台，向着总冠军的宝座进发。
