本剧是通过胶卷交错的四人的想法的青春电视剧。高中二年级的凌（深田龙生）、光（矢花黎）和千花（吉田美月喜）怀着隐藏的感情，过着看似平稳的高中生活。有一天，光和千花在校内的旧仓库里发现了8mm胶卷。被放映机映出的美丽少女（田锅梨梨花）迷住的光，在意着光的凌，守护着他们的千花，还有神秘的胶卷少女，彼此的视线总是焦急地擦肩而过。
Born in response to the Kent State massacre, new wave band Devo took their concept of “de-evolution” from cult following to near–rock star status with groundbreaking 1980 hit “Whip It” while preaching an urgent social commentary.
A struggling artist is deeply enmeshed in the world of cult cinema. As his identity blurs with his dark creations, he starts to see the monster from his films creeping into his reality, leaving him unable to distinguish fact from fiction.
当忧郁的建筑工人丹发现自己与妻子和女儿渐行渐远时，他无意中加入了当地一家剧院的《罗密欧与朱丽叶》剧组，在那里他发现了伙伴和目标。当舞台上的戏剧开始与他现实中的生活相互映照，他和他的家人也不得不面对一些私人的损失。
